Spanish Arabian, all-around horse
Lady was our first adopted rescue horse. From what we know, she is a Spanish Arab with nice bloodlines. For some reason she had been turned out to pasture with 4 very large horses, and she was too low in the pecking order to survive well there. She showed signs of past hoof abscesses, which may have been the reason she was discarded. She is completely sound now and at a nice weight. She was willing and able to become a good lesson horse in English and Western styles. She is fabulous on trails, always willing to go through water, sand, over obstacles at a nice pace. While she will bond with the person that spends the most time with her, she is also very willing to accept new riders making her a good lesson horse and a great lease horse.
